Partook in Operation Enduring Freedom with unit HMM-165 White Knights
during the deployed dates 05/27/2010 – 12/10/2010 under the command of
the 5th Fleet whilst deployed on the USS Pelileu enroute to Afghanistan.Also
worked in conjunction with the Pakistani military during a humanitarian relief
aid mission during a flood in Pakistan. In total our teams evacuated over 9,000
people and provided more than 5 million pounds of relief supplies to areas
inaccessible by ground vehiclesin the 10 weeks temporarily based in Karachi.
In leu of our duties, received a humanitarian aid medal and a global war on
terrorism expeditionary medal.
