Grand Forks, ND. Made HFGCS more reliable for the system and personnel.
COMSEC Officer:
 Ensured 100% accountability and safeguarding of classified and unclassified items in
COMSEC program.
 Maintained accuracy for all documents including destruction reports, inventory forms,
inspections and hand receipts.
-Radio Operator:
 Operated the HFGCS to provide rapid, reliable, non-dedicated communications support
to the President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, DOD agencies, and aircraft
and ships of the United States government during peacetime, contingency operations and
war.
 Provided for command and control of strategic, reconnaissance and special mission
platforms to include advisory support, emergency action communications, and
recall/diversion alerts.
-Security Manager:
 Trained personnel in proper handling, marking, storage, and destruction of classified
materials.
 Authored local Operating Instructions for Emergency Action Procedures.
 Ensured personnel are trained for group and individual responsibilities as part of the local
emergency preparedness plan.
