Server Administration

proprietary operating systems, achieved 99% uptime of services provided.

current. Accomplished 86 servers build while in the Air force.
Upgraded environmental monitoring system to monitor the status of the server floor to
include temperature and power, designed cooling upgrades to improve overall health of
server floor which reduced heat issues by 50%.
Computer Administration
Managed 5,300 computers across base, including classified computers and computer
peripherals. Maintained hardware and software on these systems.
Maintained 12,000 user accounts on two separate networks including classified network,
and purged both networks of stale accounts.
Experienced in working on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10 to include making a
standard load for each ensuring correct configuration cutting production time by 60%.
Network Management
Monitored and maintained base network, implemented Solar Winds Orion to monitor
network health and traffic across 450 switches.
Researched, designed, and implemented projects to improve network capabilities and
maintain 99% up time overall, while staying current on new technologies.
Generated network topology maps to aid technicians in understanding the flow of the
network reducing troubleshooting time for network outages.
Created a training network of 12 servers to enable 15 total technicians gain valuable
experience in building and troubleshooting various key servers, lead to technicians

Vulnerability Management
Managed the network overall vulnerabilities, scanned and patched systems as needed.
Implemented protocols and new systems to improve security. CompTIA Security Plus
Certified.
Implemented full time vulnerability management shop for the base networks which cut
total vulnerabilities by 70% and lead to best total numbers out of 15 other networks.
Created 6 vulnerability scanners to scan 2 networks continuously allowing for two full
network reports in a week and enabled near real time tracking of overall network health
and key threats.
