Producing as accurately as possible, estimates for tender packages on the costs of the construction of
mining camp infrastructure in areas such as the Pilbara and North West WA, off shore areas such as
Varanus Island, to as far south as Albany. Tenders generally ranging between $1 million and $30
million
Compiling tender and estimate documentation for the construction phase of each project
Items included in estimates include but were not limited to: civil works such as detailed earthworks,
footpaths, carparks and road creation, stormwater and drainage, transportation of buildings by truck,
road-train or barge, mobilization and de-mobilization costs of plant and equipment, machinery and
personnel, liaising with suppliers and contractors from all around Australia
Carefully collating and deciphering the information provided within the tender package
Constantly checking and updating supplier prices and rates making sure that the tender price includes
the latest rates and information at hand

Drafting – Drawing / design of engineering structural details. Drawing roof overlays required for the
process of stick roof construction
Contracts Administration – Putting together the paperwork required for contract signing. This includes
quotation schedules, addenda specifics, client liaison
Variation Processing – Pricing & implementing any changes that may be required by the clients after
construction has commenced
Construction Progress reports – Planning and scheduling of the construction progress for each home
Site Supervision – When the current Supervisor is on holidays, sick leave or otherwise engaged, I take
on this role as required
Cost Control – Checking of invoices, monitoring of erosion through price increases from both suppliers
& contractors
