past years, I have graduated in 2012 November with a B-tech in Transportation management,
currently studying with UNISA for Bcom honours in logistics and I am employed at Crossroads
Distribution as Trainee Management.
I have previously involved myself with the following companies in different types of training and
operation, Simba PepsiCo, University of Johannesburg, Transport Education Training Authority
(TETA), Transnet, Triton Express and Crossroads Distribution.
My knowledge of distribution functions and processes, logistics Management, inventory control,
fleet management, supply chain process,procurement, warehousesystems,people management
together with my familiarity with transportation operations, makes me suitable to apply for the
position. I am adept at re-organizing distribution and logistics programs to improve efficiency and
accuracy, and have a well-deserved reputation for improving profitability while reducing costs. In
addition, I possess numerous transferable skills such as multitasking, attention to detail, ability to
work under tight deadlines and I am skilfully enough to operate in the above mentioned
departments without any hesitation.
My experience in logistics and transportation management includes implementation of warehouse
and inventory control software, strategy development, budget management, operations re-
organization. I am able to negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with shipping companies,
analysing processes and operations, developing effective improvement and implement effective
policies and procedures.
I would bring to any position first-rate communication skills, the ability to Identify and resolve
problems effectively, and a commitment to excellence.
