Londonation is non profit organization which developed an
online social network in partnership with NHS to create the
biggest London community of people with one goal – blood
donation.
This social network will be the meeting point where people can
find a donators around London.
The main idea is to bring Londoners together and allow them to
deal closely with this issue in order to increase blood donations.

6. EXAMPLE CASE
Motorsport fanatic Mike Austin, 34, was riding to work on his
much-loved motorbike when he collided with a car.
“The impact of the crash trapped my leg between my
bike and the car. I was losing blood faster than it could
be transfused. ”
During the operation, the entire volume of his blood had to be replaced four times.
Two days later, doctors told Mike that his leg would have to be amputated.
After months of operations involving a total of 33 units of blood products
“I’m glad to be alive and appreciate each and every
day. Without blood donors.”
