BAE Systems design, build, integrate and support maritime platforms and naval weapon systems.
BAE are a leading shipbuilder in the naval and marine sectors in Australia.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day management of the production team, overseeing
and delegating tasks to trades teams (up to 80 staff per shift – Sheet Metal
Workers, Pipefitters, Mechanical Fitters, Painters, Welders, Boilermakers,
Scaffolders, Riggers) ensuring high productivity and quality output
• Provide effective leadership to the team to ensure a positive and productive
environment with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
• Coordinate work activities, facilitate meetings and control team activities
• Plan daily schedule of works to maintain required project tasks and timeline
and organise trade resources to complete required activities and tasks
