Note that you also have to have space, power, cooling, you pay the full amount up front, and it becomes CAPEX not OPEX.You also need to order the system, ship it, unpack it, etc… so the self-provisioning has other hidden costs not reflected in this slide.
2 instances running for a 2 week engagement is equivalent to one image for a full month.As soon as you delete an instance, image or storage unit, you stop paying, so actual charges could be much smallerActual charges (excluding Reserve IP and Premium Support) is hourly, we’ve extended to a month.Support options: Forum, Premium, O/SReserving capacity reduces the cost
You can choose which instances are publicly visible and which ones require VPN access and VLAN configuration to enable securely bridging your internal LAN with the SmartCloud instances.
