Strategy & new proposition lead
We are current searching for a Strategy & new proposition lead to join a well know business in
Manchester. The salary on offer here is £70,000 – £86,000 + £6500 car allowance + generous
Bonus and Benefits package.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of new proposition opportunities
across web, mobile and tablet, the delivery of the digital strategy and be responsible for
management of the strategy & new proposition team. You will be responsible for interface with
circa 9 million customers via digital devices
Areas of Accountability
Responsible for delivering the strategic digital roadmap.
Responsible for thought leadership - being at the forefront of innovations , new technologies,
vendors and emerging trends across digital in order to identify opportunities for the co-operative
bank across the digital landscape
Responsible for generating competitor and wider cross sector digital developments and assessing
level of response.
Responsible for driving the digital business to create, shape and evolve new proposition ideas
and opportunities that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
To work collaboratively and effectively with project teams to ensure on time delivery, in budget
and to brief.
Working with wider teams to ensure synergy, tactical opportunities for commercial growth and
maximising proposition impact.
Developing and communicating sound business cases and propositions.
Managing key stakeholders to achieve the development and launch of compelling and
differentiating digital propositions driving business growth and customer advocacy
Dependencies & Key Relationships
Key member of the digital team
To work alongside other members of the digital leadership team to improve the digital profile and
effectiveness.
To work alongside key internal partners across the business in ensuring the customer experience
is effective and efficient.
TCF Responsibilities
Maintain a good understanding of TCF requirements relevant to the role, ensuring compliance
and that due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly
Ensure appropriate monitoring, reporting, disclosures, and remedial actions are completed to
expectations regarding six TCF outcomes as defined by FSA.
Ensure TCF requirements are fully reflected in performance development objectives, both own
and team where appropriate
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Expert in digital technologies across web, tablet and mobile.
Experienced in inventing, inspiring and shape engaging simple and intuitive digital propositions
A successful track record in the digital space arena with evidence of developing compelling digital
propositions with strong commercial understanding
Expert in communicating advanced technical opportunities to non-technical audiences
Experienced leader, and influential communicator
Ability to lead, demonstrate and explain the digital mission in diverse communication
methodologies
