Team recognition “I just wanted to let you know how much I have appreciated Mark
Gibbon’s effort and effectiveness on the NDA40 CNS project.”
Team recognition “Mark assumed ownership of the PRODUCTION Schedule, and base-
lined it in short order. In addition, he has facilitated daily calls to drive PRODUCTION
issues to closure. THANKS AGAIN MARK FOR AN OUTSTANDING JOB !!!!!”
Area manager recognition “if I could go back and do it again, I would have demanded a
PM assigned. Mark really stepped up and showed his talent at organizing
groups…..Thanks so much for allowing Mark to help and get this JDSU project done by
driving this cut”
Team member recognition “I think you have a great leader on your team. In my opinion,
Mark Gibbons performance on this project has been stellar. He has managed to pull
the team together and subtly drive the team to work towards resolution whenever we
have stumbled across roadblocks.”
Team member recognition “From the NTD PMs I’ve worked with I think you’re the most
methodical, and you always make sure nothing falls through the cracks. That is a great
asset to have on the project”
Team member recognition “I had the privilege to work with Mark Gibbons on the Akron
Central Notification Server build. Building the Central Notification Server had a huge list
of technical and non-technical tasks related to data centers, servers, local and global
load balancers, firewalls , DNS and work order processes that required an
exceptional project manager like Mark Gibbons to manage the tasks by identifying
tasks, working with the right resources and categorizing, prioritizing , planning and
identifying up-coming risks and communicating on time with the project members. I
would list the following competencies for Mark Gibbons with high confidence:
Quickly understands required tasks with no downtime.
Excellent organizer to keep the project on track.
Self-driven for the success of the project.
Actively monitoring e-mails threads and identifying required tasks.
Reaching out to project members as needed to make sure tasks are in PROGRESS as
planned.
