QUESTION 3) HOW DID YOU
USE NEW MEDIA
TECHNOLOGIES IN THE
RESEARCH/PLANNING, CO
NSTRUCTION AND
EVALUATION STAGES?
2. I used a variety of different types of media in order to construct
and plan my A2 media product. This was used when doing my
research and planning, as well as constructing my media products.
3. When doing my research and planning, using new media technologies
had enabled me to produce high quality research when planning for
my horror trailer, magazine and poster. For example, the use of the
green room when filming my trailer analysis video. Doing this, I was
able to edit images and clips in the background to showcase my
research using Final Cut Pro X.
YouTube was also helpful in my research and planning as it allowed
me to understand current trailers and use them to my advantage to
inspire me for my media product. This was also used to upload my
work to be view in high quality.
RESEARCH AND PLANNING
4. Final Cut Pro X was a huge part of my construction of my final
products. It allowed me to edit my trailer to make it to the industry
standards. I was able to edit sound, add special effects i.e. filters
which helped create a bigger impact in my trailer.
Photoshop CS6 made my magazine front cover and poster have high
quality. This helped me create the scary images on both my front
cover and poster. This added to create a visually better front cover and
poster to entice my audience.
YouTube was used again in order to upload an d share my horror
trailer in high definition.
CONSTRUCTION
5. With the use of websites such as Prezi and Slideshare, I was able to
make more interactive and high standard presentations. I could
answer the evaluation questions in a more creative way using images
etc.
I also used a Skype to create my presentation which allowed me to
thoroughly explain my media products. YouTube was used once again
to upload my presentation so the public could view it.
Stupeflix allowed me to make a short video to present my answer
efficiently, whilst making it interesting to watch.
