Marieke Guy introduced herself as the new learning technologist at the university and explained that her role involves managing, researching, and enabling learning through technology. She outlined several technology initiatives already in progress, such as a digital strategy and new classroom equipment. Guy sought feedback from staff on what is and isn't working well currently and where her efforts could be most effective in improving the learning experience through technology solutions such as a redesign of the university's learning management system and online assessment tools.
