Job Description:
The OR-CSR Supplies Head is primarily responsible for monitoring and control , proper and
orderly storage/warehousing, safekeeping and control of materials and supplies inventory as well as
issuance of such to requisitioning parties. in addition, the position incumbent undertakes the over-the-
counter selling of disposable medical supplies to patients / customers.
1. Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statements and the core
values of the organization.
2. Establishes optimal stock levels and re-order points for consumable medical and administrative
supplies and materials; coordinates with the Purchasing Assistant on the purchase of replenishment
stocks.
3. Prepares and issues regular administrative / medical supplies to departments and work units on the
basis of approved requisition slips.
4. Undertakes over-the-counter sales of medical central supply room items.
5. Ensures proper and orderly storage warehousing, safekeeping and control of materials and supplies
inventory against losses, wastage and destruction.
6.Participates in the periodic conduct of inventory / physical count of supplies and materials.
7. Encodes transactions into the computer to generate records of stock movements and balances.
8. Maintains files of all requisition slips as references of stock verification.
9. Attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and
personal proficiencies.
10.Prepares weekly planner on activities to be undertaken and prepare reports on actual result, output
and accomplishments based on plans at the end of the week; consolidate accomplishment reports into
monthly performance reports.
11. Undertakes work activities in conformity with the institutional guidelines on safety and infection
control.
12. Supervise the activity of the work unit with particular emphasis on dispensing, preparation of
request and inventory supplies.
13. Plan organize and control the organization and activities of the work unit prepare budget in support
of such operation and activities.
14. Monitor and analyze supplies status with particular emphasis on keep track of slow and non-
moving stock in order to determine remedial action on such.
15. Prepare and submit monthly report on operation and activities of the work unit.
16. Supervised and control, planned and intervening activities of subordinate employee concerning of
the performance of their job function.
17. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied
