Duties and Responsibilities: as Receptionist/Customer Service Representative (Hospital Set-
ting)
• Report on duty on time.
• Assist patients according to their needs; gives appointment, checks Insurance status
and approvals.
• Provide information, answer queries and direct them to the person they need.
• Prepare company profile and keep complete accurate records of the company.
• Directs clients by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instruc-
tions.
• Maintains telecommunication system by following company’s instructions for house
phone and console operation.

tions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Performs a variety of routine typing, operates a personal computer to draft basic cor-
respondence, enter data and print letters.
• Prepare and transmit facsimile and/or email.
• Answers call with courtesy.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Staff Nurse:
• Admit patient and carry out doctor’s order in conformity with hospital policy and legal
limitation.
• Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• Do assessment subjectively and objectively to determine what is the chief complaint.
• Make Nursing Diagnosis in order to know potential risk to the patient.
• Plan ahead. Determine short and long term goals.
• Monitoring vital signs and record it accurately.
• Observe patients condition, measure and record inputs and outputs and report any sign
and symptoms and changes.
• Dispense and administer medication and treatments as order by the physician.
• Prepare patients for a schedule surgical procedure.
• Giving pre-operative health teachings.
• Transport patients to designated area by wheelchair or stretcher and endorse properly.
• Make nursing rounds, giving special attention to the critical patients, new admissions, pre
and post operative patients and those who have contraption such as IVF.
• Attending to the patients special needs.
• Evaluates short term and long term goals, whether goals were met or not.
• Make charting to document patient conditions and to evaluate the effectiveness of nurs-
ing care.
• Provided supportive counseling and nursing care.
• Endorsed patient accordingly.
• Discharge patient, give home care and medication instructions as well.
• Advice the patient when to return for follow-ups.
