didn’thave a conversationbetweentwopeople.
In the preliminarytask,we showedanddemonstratedourknowledge of the 180 degree rule while
character a and character b was havinga conversationthe cameramanalwaysstayedonthe right
handside of the twocharacters. Thisshowsthattheywere followingthe rule because youhave to
picka side ontwocharacters a stick tothroughoutthe scene.Thisisdone to make sure that the
audience doesn’tgetconfusedwherethe charactersare inthe scene.
In myfinal filmthe Fallen we usedthe180degree rule byalwaysstayingonthe blankside of the
maincharacter inthe opening.Whenwe were filming, we didn’texplicitlysaythatthishas to be
done butwe justmade sure that we followedthe rule because we understoodthe rule andits
importance inthe film.

whysome of the audiocan be heardcuttingoff and no soundinsome parts while onsome partsit
was intendedto be soundlessintermsof diegeticsoundinthe shot .We addedmore soundeffects
like the screaminginthe startand the openingmusicall the wayto the door slammingandopening.
Thisshowsprogressinmy editingskillsbecausethe filmlooksandsounds more professionalinour
final film.
