SUMMARY
An aviation electronics technician and helicopter specialist with the abilities to repair and
troubleshoot communication, navigation, and electrical systems. Qualification on first level of
inspection on helicopters as a Collateral Duty Inspector, Quality Assurance Representative. End
of active service July 2015- September 2015.

and routing of various wire bundles throughout aircraft.
Able to operate Support Equipment and tools such as an NC-10 portable DC/AC power
unit, NAN4B Nitrogen Servicing Unit, Digital Multimeter, Megger, soldering iron and
miscellaneous system test sets such as MLVS Software Loading Set, Countermeasures
and Weapons test sets I.E. ALM-290 Chaff and Flare test set, ALM-103 rocket test set,
Hellfire/ Sidewinder test set and Data Bus test set.
Shows expertise in wire repair for single stranded, twisted shielded pair, coaxial, data
bus, and FLIR image video wiring. Can utilize wire repairs tools not limited to wire
crimps, barrel crimp/ dies, and wire strippers. All in accordance with NAVAIR publication
standards.
Familiar with COMSEC equipment, components and protocol. Is familiar with IFF
(Identify Friend or Foe), HAVEQUICK and SINCGAR frequency communications.
EXPERIENCE
US Marine Corps Aviation Electronics Technician (AH-1Z/UH-1Y)
Sept 2011 to Present / Hours worked per Week: 40+
Performed preventative and corrective maintenance on various avionics systems to
include communication, navigation, electrical, countermeasures, and weapon systems on
2 type model series.
2. Inspected and supervised maintenance actions performed by respective work center as
a Collateral Duty Inspector.
Managed the safety program, training program, and tool control program for the
respective work center.
Obtained qualification of administrative laser safety officer and received training on laser
safety.
Perform Phase Inspection to inspect aircraft engines for overhaul, corrosion, and various
inspection discrepancies.
Line Troubleshooting correcting minor and and major discrepancies at a moments
notice. Briefing pilots on condition of aircraft and any alerts that arise. Making decisions
in whether or not an aircraft is safe for flight.
