Primarily provided avionics and electrical support to rotary wing
aircrafts including Chinookand Blackhawk,in a combatsituation. Also
worked with numerous types of communication systems including
filling and coding. In addition, worked with rotary wing defense
systems
Deployed in 2014/2015 to Afghanistan. Gained high stress combat
experience with Chinook and Blackhawk model helicopters working

Flight Controls
Responsible for nulling cpts and resetting flight controls to neutral.
Skilled in CSGTI tests to diagnose and troubleshoot flight controls.
Wiring
Experience in repairing terminal boards, circuit breakers, splicing wire,
and relays.
Skilled in constructing cannon plugs and jacks, crimping tool usage,
and wire manipulation.
Crafted and installed wire bundles from engineering diagrams and
installed into the aircraft. Ability to modify and repair as well as
preform tests. Installations included GPS, Navigation, and home
systems.
Route harnesses on wire boards per drawings. Complete standard
assemblies by terminating wires to plugs, ground lugs, switches,
blocks, boards etc., which are guided by wiring diagrams, operation
sheets and Electrical Planning and Tooling System (EPATS) sheets.
Use hand tools for crimping and component install/ removal.
Calibrates installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
Fabricate wiring harnesses through the use of a wirestamping machine
and other specialized tools.
Inspected wire bundles, junk connectors, and coax cables for
overheating, discolor, or general wear and tear.
Able to craft connectors or jacks in coordination with civil or military
guidelines based on numbers or letters as well as colors and using
proper pins.
Able to perform proper voltage and continuity checks.
Paperwork and Manuals
Responsible for filling out all proper maintenance paper work for
scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as tagging and
ordering parts.
Proficient at reading and interpreting manuals, schematics, and
drawings.
