H. Making Generalizations &
Abstractions about the lessons
What are the things you did in
noting details from a selection you
listened?
What is a dictionary?
What is a thesaurus?
Enumeration text is one
which presents ideas by
listing the kinds,
characteristics, classes,
types, parts, ways, groups,
and other information of a
certain thing. These parts
are introduced by signal
words such as the following,
first,
next, and so on, in many
ways.
What are primary
sources?
Primary Sources
These are original source
or record about an event,
person, or object
What are secondary
sources?
These materials provide
information collected,
analyzed,
interpreted, or evaluated
Recall ideas you have learned
and answer the cloze test to
come-up with the correct
meaning of reality and
fantasy.
What does reality and
fantasy mean? How can we
identify statements
expressing reality or fantasy?
Reality is something that is
R_______, T_______, of
E_______, and it is a
F_______ that can be
from the primary sources. proven.
Fantasy, on the other hand,
is M________-B________,
not R_______, not T_______,
of no E_________, and is a
N________-F________ which
impossible to be proven.
Real images are those that
exist or present in the real
world and not just merely
products of imagination.
Make-believe images are
created by the mind and
which do not exist in reality.
They are developed to
entertain people’s eyes and
mind.
Identifying real images
suggests that there are basis
of its existence, they are
seen, felt, smelled, heard and
even tasted.
Identifying make-believe
objects or fantasy means
believing or knowing that
these images are not real and
not true because they are
not seen, felt, smelled, heard
nor tasted.

YOUR KEY TO SUCCESS
by Prerna C, - India
If you are determined and your eyes are set
You shall surely achieve your goal and that’s a bet
Hard work, honesty and concentration are the only keys to success
Try again and again, for one day victory is what you’ll possess
Rise with every fall
Don’t be afraid to touch the sky so tall
Concentrate on every chore that you do
It may be work or can be play too
Set a high goal but it must be within your reach
Also keep you pride low & practice what you preach
Remember to never let your confidence break down
Even if the world jeers at you or calls you a clown
Show them what you are by proving your worth
So that your name shall shine in every corner of this earth
One day for sure your hard work, honesty and focus will pay back
And there will be nothing in the world that you’ll lack
Follow these steps and success shall itself enlighten your pathway
And fill your life with joy, happiness and peace everyday
