• Three people have to cross a valley from left side to the right side of
valley.
• There is fixed distance between two edges of the valley.
• Crossing the valley neither by jumping or by walking on a pole placed
on the two edges.

4. Pictorial representation of the process
Job of A: Discoverer or Risk Taker
Job of B: Jobber B is follower. Comparatively, Jobber B’s job
is less risky compared to Jobber A .
Job of C: Jobber C will follow fore walkers in crossing the

6. Important features of the action plan
ONE - Two full persons equivalent
were ensured to be steadily based
themselves on valley edges. And
only one person equivalent was not
steadily based on. Every time FOUR
legs are bearing the load of one
person.
TWO - All the three people do same
and equal work but the sequence of
the work varies among the same
three persons. This variation in
distribution of work has its own
implications for the individuals.
THREE: Making the physical
stamina of people irrelevant in
crossing the valley.
Sum total of total tasks, burdens and responsibilities
that are shared by the three people is equal.
7. Requirements
• Understanding the nature of people’s
contributions like co operation
• Understanding the need for synchronization –
that is co ordination of cooperation .
• Practicing the synchronization of their efforts
through physical drill.
• Practicising each of the steps by the three people
separately and together .
