2. OHSAS Management System
OHSASManagementSystemis simple buteffective structure isstillusedtodaytoensure thatthe hazardsand
risksassociatedwithorganizationsactivities,productsandservicesare systematicallyidentifiedandassessed,
controlled,monitoredandcontinuouslyimproved. The theory isbasedupon ‘Plan,Do,Check,Act’.
4. Interpretation– how to assessthe risks in your workplace
The complexityof hazardidentification,riskassessmentandriskcontrol processesgreatlydependsonfactors
such as the size of the organization,the workplace situationswithinthe organizationandthe nature,complexity
and significanceof the hazards.OHSASguidance promotesa 5-stepapproach to hazard identificationand risk
assessment:
Step1: Lookfor the hazards
Step2: Decide whomightbe harmedandhow
Step3: Evaluate the risksanddecide whetherthe existingprecautionsare adequate orwhethermore shouldbe
done

We give training,instructions&supervisionstoemployeestoperformtheirrolesinasafetymannerfora
safeguardlife. A healthandsafetymanagerisappointedtomonitorandcontrol the healthandsafetyof all our
employeesatall time.
We provide all type of safelytoolstoouremployeeswhichare requiredfortheirwork.
We make sure that all incidentsare carefullymeasuredandreportedaswell asinvestigatedsothat theycanbe
stoppedinfuture.
We developahealthandsafetyplanandmake itsure that everyemployee isfollowingthat.

Workingat Height: We had setsome standardsfor the fitnessof employeesforthese kindof work,whenthe are
workingat height.We provide themall type of required Personal Protective Equipments.Ourhealthand safety
managermonitorsstrictlythatall teammembersare usingPPEproperly,safetypassport.We alsomake sure that
theyare CBTHR trainedandwe arrange Monthly internal trainingfromourseniorteammembers.
Workingwith Electrical equipments:We make sure thatthe personsdoinganykindof electrical workis
authorizedfordoingelectrical work.We ensure thatall electrical equipmentsaswell astoolsare properly
isolatedbeforestartingthe work.We ensure thatall PPEare providedtothe teamand theyare usingit. We also
ensure properscrutinyandassessmentof riskforthe sitesbefore the workisundertaken.
Material safety:We have establishedappropriate controlswhichare requiredforsafe use handling,
transportation,maintenance andstorage of productsare monitoredperiodically.We ensure thatproperPPE are
usedforhandlingof material safely.We ensureaboutusage of material handlingequipmentsof high safety
standardsand usedbycompetentperson whiledealingwithheavymaterial.
Driving safety:We ensure thatall vehiclesusedinprojectworkmustbe fittedwithappropriate safety
equipmentslike seatbeltandall.The drivermustbe trainedandwell skilled.The Speedlimitmustbe maintained
and mobile phone mustnotbe usedwhile driving.

6. We conduct internal training on every month on regular basis with projects by senior technical person.

5. Quality Policies & On Site Audit Plan
We have deployed QEHS(Quality,EquipmentHealth&Safety) teamsunderwhichwe conductSurprise checkson
regularbasis.Assoonas the site will isdone bythe FieldTeam, the QEHS Engineervisitsasurprise checkinorder
to checkthe Qualityof the workdone. We conduct suchvisitsonregularbasisinfuture and make as a best
practice for checkingSite Qualities.
Some findingsof anOnSite AuditPlan,we make sure thatthe teamisdonningthe rightand certified
PPEs(PersonalProtective Equipments),musthave permittoworkonthe site,companyID Card,First AidKit,
Sanitizingthe site areabyusingBarricadingTapes.

A systematicidentificationof the OH&Sawarenessandcompetenciesrequiredateachlevel andfunction
withinthe organization
Arrangementstoidentifyandremedyanyshortfallsbetweenthe requiredOH&Sawarenessand
competency,andthe level currentlypossessedbythe individual
Provision of anytrainingidentifiedasbeingnecessary,inatimelyandsystematicmanner ▶
Assessmentof individualstoensure thattheyhave acquired,andthattheymaintainthe knowledge and
competencyrequired
Maintenance of appropriate recordsof an individual’strainingandcompetency.AnOH&S awarenessand
trainingprogramshouldbe establishedandmaintained toaddressthe followingareas:
An understandingof the organization’sOH&Sarrangementsandindividuals’specificrolesand
responsibilitiesforthem
A systematicprogram of inductionandongoingtrainingforemployeesandthose whotransferbetween
divisions
Sites,departments,areas,jobsortaskswithinthe organization
Traininginlocal OH&S arrangementsandhazards,risks,precautionstobe takenandprocedurestobe
followed,thistrainingbeing providedbefore workcommences
Trainingfor performinghazardidentification,riskassessmentandriskcontrol
Specificin-house orexternal trainingwhichmaybe requiredforemployeeswithspecificrolesinthe
OH&S system,includingemployee OH&Srepresentatives.
