Horror Film, due to the dark colour scheme, blood on the person on the poster and name of the
film.
Do you think the main image of the poster is effective?
Yeah its good, more blood though.
What do you think about the name of the film?
I think it’s good, bit creepy; I like the ‘Don’t Look Back’ part.
Do you like the font used?
Again it’s creepy and conveys the genre of the film well.
From looking at the poster, what do you think the film is about?
I think it’s about a girl who murders everyone because she is under some sort of curse.
Do you like the colour scheme and do you think it represents the horror genre?
Its good, the dark colour lets people know it’s a scary film.
Any suggestions for improvement?
Maybe because the trailer was in a forest, the background of the poster could be a forest scene at
night.

Do you think that my magazine looks like a realistic film magazine?
Yes it looks good, I like the inclusion of other films at the top of the front page, looks more
realistic.
What do you think about the name of the magazine?
Its good, gives a potential reader an idea of what the theme of the magazine is without being
blatantly obvious.
What do you think about the colour scheme?
Colour scheme is good as it clear that it is a horror film magazine and everything, like the title, is
clear and stands out.
Can you recognise that this is the same film as the poster, what links can you see?
Yes I can, as the main image is the same, apart from that green eye, and the title is there in the
same font.
Do you think that having other films promoted on the cover is effective?
Yes I think it makes it seem as though the magazine is real and looks more professional.
Any suggestions for improvement?
You could potentially have a small caption, like an advertisement, for example “Coming Soon”
blah blah blah.

Do you think that it is like a real film trailer? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, it was clear what the general theme of the film was and what was going to
happen, without showing main parts.
Can you tell what genre the film is, if so why?
Horror film, because of the music and the setting.
Is the storyline clear?
Yes it was pretty clear what the storyline of the film was.
What do you think about the music?
I think it conveyed the genre of the film well and gave an indication of the type of
storyline.
Do you like the name of the film?
Yes, it’s not too long but you instantly know from looking at the name that it is a
horror film.
Any suggestions for improvement?
Better actresses or more shots so I can see the actresses really act. Not really, maybe if
it were darker when filming it would look a bit scarier.
