1. 1. OBEY “ THE GOLDEN RULE”. We’ve heard it a hundred
times. Treat others the way you would like to e treated. Think
about it you actually consciously pondered this phrase there
would e a lot less hurt feelings and unruly behavior in the
classroom and in the campus and sports competitions
2. VALUE OF RESPECT cannot be undersold. A lack of respect
can be drowning detrimental, completely undermining the
mission of teaching and learning.
All school personnel and students are expected to use the
following word that show respect for another person at the
appropriate times when addressing each other:

3. FRIENDS FOREVER. Make new friends, but keep the old, one is
silver and the other’s gold. Each year there may be new students in the
classrooms. You should view this as an opportunity to make new
friends. They should be reminded to cultivate the relationships they
already have, but also encouraged to introduce themselves to new
students and new classmates. Remember to stand up straight, smile and
make good eye contact when making introductions.
3. 4. CUT OUT THE CLIQUES AND BE INCLUSIVE OF
EVERYONE. All of you students want to be accepted by your peers
here in school. Know about the negative effects of whispering,
gossiping or excluding others. Know how it would feel if the shoe were
on the foot. You should be inclusive of every one at all times at school,
especially to new students who may be more shy or reserved. You do
not have to engage everyone in a deep conversation, but friendly and
warm smile is a must.
5. BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL. Students should be respectful
towards the school administration , faculty and staff. Be encouraged to
channel your inner school spirit and support your teams both academic
and sports related. Be motivated to be more responsible classroom
officer or take the lead on students activities and charitable drives to
raise funds for the school.
4. 6. BEST LEADERS ARE HUMBLE LEADERS! Humility is one 0f
the traits many employers look for in new hires. Thus we, instill in your
social system the values of CHIP. It depicts an altruistic behavior --- a
style characterized by 1) acts of humility, such as learning from
criticism and admitting mistakes; 2) empowering followers to learn and
develop; 3) acts of courage, such as taking personal risks for the
greater good; and 4) holding members responsible for results --- you
are more likely to report feeling included in your work teams.
7. SCHOOL MANNERS ARE NOT JUST FOR STUDENTS!
Parents and teachers can be some of the worst offenders. Greet fellow
parents and teachers each day with warm and friendly smile.
Be reminded of your expectations and rules with regard to your
manners and behavior in general. This will provide you with the
confidence you need to achieve in school and have a productive and
successful year!
