Welcome to the rst edition of
IMAGE, our new monthly e-news
bulletin designed especially for
giving an insight to AISECT
University, Hazaribag. A lot of
effort has been given in making of
this issue. We hope you enjoy
reading this bulletin. The best
thing about this issue is that it
represents the creative side of
AISECT students to a fair degree-
something that we think we all
need to reconnect with. Amidst
the busy schedule of a 4-month semester, with 3-exams, and all
those assignments that make the student bang their heads on the
wall, we tend to lose track of all the creative things that we are
capable of, things that we could have been proud of which can bring
each one, satisfaction. So this time we have made an attempt to
bring out the talent concealed within the members of AISECT
family. This issue includes articles, poems and features by our
students as well as the faculty members. We hope you enjoy reading
thisissueasmuchaswehave enjoyedmaking it.
I hope you will enjoy this rst issue. Any suggestion or criticism on
thisbulletin wouldbe mostwelcome.

imagine how difcult it is to give a
good shape to it. It is a Herculean task

AISECT family, Hazaribag has not left
any stone unturned. The AISECT
University has managed this crucial period very well, and is going ahead in
making the AISECT University, Hazaribag a brand name. It has ensured
very high standards of performance and has also set up a mark of quality
education. Unlike other e-newsletters that seek to mention the awards and
achievements of the University, this annual report is an insight to the
contribution of AISECT University in the development of the society. It will
also provide live images of organizational culture, plans, policies, potential
andpeopleofthe Universitywith their mindset,visionandsentiments.
A university is much more than just a place to acquire knowledge. At
AISECT University, Hazaribag we take pride in being an institution that is
open to new ideas and innovative thinking. The world class research

Hazaribag Jheel is situated in the centre
of Hazaribag. It is the symbol of nature's
beauty as well as aesthetic values also.
At Jheel, people enjoy boating,
swimming, shing, morning walk and it
isapopularpicnicspotaswell.
Jheel is decorated with many types of
owers, plants, trees and by musical
lights, At Jheel people get fresh air,
water, andpeaceofmind.
In Jheel many types of colourful
shes are available which creates a
beautiful and joyful effect in Jheel, and
peopleenjoyit also.
But presence of many of aquatic weeds
and unwanted plants spoil the beauty of
Jheel by making unusual views around
Jheel. Many of the weeds are in the big
form like bushes, shrubs etc, which
mainlyspoilsthe beauty ofthe Jheel.
These weeds also affect the life of aquatic
animals, shes, which totaly depend on
their life cycle in water. They pollute
fresh water of Jheel by which life of sh
gets affected and the ecosystem,
environment and nature also are
disturbed.
Jheel water is supplied to many of the
houses near the area, and hence polluted
water creates harmful effects on human
health.
Weed is an unwanted plant that
grow faster than desirable plants and
their life cycle is also small but by which
the ecosystem of nature gets affected
creating water pollution, air pollution
dangerous to aquatic life, sh, animal,
humanhealth etc.
Thus we should apply techniques
to control weed and stop their growth,
which will help to
maintain the beauty
o f t h e J h e e l a t
Hazaribag. First one,
by the use of our
hands, we pull the
weeds and throw it
outside the Jheel area
and burn it. Another
method could be by collecting weeds
and cutting their roots with the help of
sickle and then removal of the weeds
fromwater.
By applying some weed removal devices
that go under water, take out their roots
and throw out weeds from Jheel and use
it in compost by decomposition can also
be very helpfulinweedcontrolprocess.
If whole area of the Jheel is coved up by
weeds and cannot be controlled by any
of the devices then, we chemicals or
herbicides that can control their growth
can be applied. Application of
herbicides does not harm the aquatic life
of animals or the quality of water, and
thus beauty of the Jheel besides
maintaining the aestheticvalues.
Weed control at Jheel is important for
every one's better life, getting fresh air,
quality water andnatural beauty ofJheel.
One of these methods could be manually
pulling out of weeds from Jheel and then
burning them to ensure restriction of
pollution.

Dear Daughter,
I have never longed to be alone,
I never had wished you to be alone,
But see how thing amused
That you became forever alone.
You were my part for three months
Those pleasing three months,
Those crucial three months,
Those gruelling three months,
That transformed both of our lives.
You were my part for three months
When they split us apart-without letting me
realize.
I avow-my child-I was unfamiliar.
And I too became a slayer.
I did-why? SOCIETY
I had a son two years later,
A delight they felt and
I died due of igominy
And I wrote you every year.
One the expected date of your birth.
Alas! I didn't have any address.
Yet I wrote!
Although I could not see you growing,
But I buy a dress every year
Just for you-that I could see you,
How you might be budding somewhere.
Although I could not see you toodle
But I had bought anklets for you
Just to see and hear how those jingle,
When you have danced.
Although I could not see you but I feel you
In my dreams and
Murmuring of your voice gently in my ears,
“Mummy……”
And I arouse out of dreams to hold you
Anger maddens me,
THE LAST LETTER
- Richa
Just to nd the murderers of yours
Revenge tries to speak up,
But I kept shut for the son.
For whom you were eradicated
It has been twenty ve years,
With all departing day passes
I soared for you my daughter.
I you were living,
You would have been my friend –
My advisor, my motivator
This is the last letter I inscribe to you.
I cannot live with this guilt
Guilt of breathing with killers,
Seeing them freely exist.
And-the son-for whom
They all did nuissance
My daughter they took your life
But now the son stays neither with me,
nor with them,
He has his own life and a wife.
I have no affection, no adoration.
Yet I love you until the end of my life.
And I missed you from eternity
I don't know where I will go
Will I continue or end my life
But one thing is clear
That I would be away from humiliation.
And since I had not let you see this life,
My child-I tell you, life is beautiful
Close your eyes and whisper in my ears.
Mummy-and all world will be yours.
Nothing more can I write,
Except to say
If you could forgive me.
Your's loving mother.

AISECT University Hazaribag always emphasizes on imparting quality
education even to the grassroots level of the society. To achieve this,
AISECT University organized a one-month, free workshop on
Personality Development and Communicative English for the students
of Hazaribag and adjacent areas. This workshop was open to all,
irrespective of the age, profession or any other social or economic
parameter.
th
The workshop started on 26 April. It was conducted everyday from 4-6
PM in the evening. The main idea being conducting this workshop was
that the student mater pace with the developing world which lies outside
thissmalltown ofJharkhand.
The faculty members of English Department, Ms. Preeti Purnima Baxla
and Ms. Richa played a very crucial part in improving the
communication skills of the students by making them aware of some
basic rules of grammar, phonetics and linguistic. Ms. Manisha Sinha
(Dept. of Journalism & Mass com.) and Mr. Anupam Gupta (Dept. of
Management) worked on grooming the personalities of the students, so
that when they step out in the competitive world, they do not feel
dijected or discarded due to the absence of some very basic attribute of
ones character. Computer literacy is again a very important skill for
students today. Mr. Farooq Jamal made the students aware of some of the
softwares of computer like – Ms Word, Ms Excel, PowerPoint
Presentation andsurng onInternet etc.
A total number of 22 students participated in the workshop. In the
closing ceremony of workshop, they weve awarded certicate of
participation by our honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. S.K. Srivastava and
were congratulated by the Registrar Dr. Munish Kr. Govind. Few of the

  • 3. 2 IMAGE, 30th May 2018, Wednesday from editor’s Deskfrom editor’s Desk Welcome to the rst edition of IMAGE, our new monthly e-news bulletin designed especially for giving an insight to AISECT University, Hazaribag. A lot of effort has been given in making of this issue. We hope you enjoy reading this bulletin. The best thing about this issue is that it represents the creative side of AISECT students to a fair degree- something that we think we all need to reconnect with. Amidst the busy schedule of a 4-month semester, with 3-exams, and all those assignments that make the student bang their heads on the wall, we tend to lose track of all the creative things that we are capable of, things that we could have been proud of which can bring each one, satisfaction. So this time we have made an attempt to bring out the talent concealed within the members of AISECT family. This issue includes articles, poems and features by our students as well as the faculty members. We hope you enjoy reading thisissueasmuchaswehave enjoyedmaking it. I hope you will enjoy this rst issue. Any suggestion or criticism on thisbulletin wouldbe mostwelcome. (Ms.ManishaSinha)

  • 8. StudentStudent Adda5 IMAGE, 30th May 2018, Wednesday Hazaribag Jheel is situated in the centre of Hazaribag. It is the symbol of nature's beauty as well as aesthetic values also. At Jheel, people enjoy boating, swimming, shing, morning walk and it isapopularpicnicspotaswell. Jheel is decorated with many types of owers, plants, trees and by musical lights, At Jheel people get fresh air, water, andpeaceofmind. In Jheel many types of colourful shes are available which creates a beautiful and joyful effect in Jheel, and peopleenjoyit also. But presence of many of aquatic weeds and unwanted plants spoil the beauty of Jheel by making unusual views around Jheel. Many of the weeds are in the big form like bushes, shrubs etc, which mainlyspoilsthe beauty ofthe Jheel. These weeds also affect the life of aquatic animals, shes, which totaly depend on their life cycle in water. They pollute fresh water of Jheel by which life of sh gets affected and the ecosystem, environment and nature also are disturbed. Jheel water is supplied to many of the houses near the area, and hence polluted water creates harmful effects on human health. Weed is an unwanted plant that grow faster than desirable plants and their life cycle is also small but by which the ecosystem of nature gets affected creating water pollution, air pollution dangerous to aquatic life, sh, animal, humanhealth etc. Thus we should apply techniques to control weed and stop their growth, which will help to maintain the beauty o f t h e J h e e l a t Hazaribag. First one, by the use of our hands, we pull the weeds and throw it outside the Jheel area and burn it. Another method could be by collecting weeds and cutting their roots with the help of sickle and then removal of the weeds fromwater. By applying some weed removal devices that go under water, take out their roots and throw out weeds from Jheel and use it in compost by decomposition can also be very helpfulinweedcontrolprocess. If whole area of the Jheel is coved up by weeds and cannot be controlled by any of the devices then, we chemicals or herbicides that can control their growth can be applied. Application of herbicides does not harm the aquatic life of animals or the quality of water, and thus beauty of the Jheel besides maintaining the aestheticvalues. Weed control at Jheel is important for every one's better life, getting fresh air, quality water andnatural beauty ofJheel. • 9. 6 IMAGE, 30th May 2018, Wednesday Dear Daughter, I have never longed to be alone, I never had wished you to be alone, But see how thing amused That you became forever alone. You were my part for three months Those pleasing three months, Those crucial three months, Those gruelling three months, That transformed both of our lives. You were my part for three months When they split us apart-without letting me realize. I avow-my child-I was unfamiliar. And I too became a slayer. I did-why? SOCIETY I had a son two years later, A delight they felt and I died due of igominy And I wrote you every year. One the expected date of your birth. Alas! I didn't have any address. Yet I wrote! Although I could not see you growing, But I buy a dress every year Just for you-that I could see you, How you might be budding somewhere. Although I could not see you toodle But I had bought anklets for you Just to see and hear how those jingle, When you have danced. Although I could not see you but I feel you In my dreams and Murmuring of your voice gently in my ears, “Mummy……” And I arouse out of dreams to hold you Anger maddens me, THE LAST LETTER - Richa Just to nd the murderers of yours Revenge tries to speak up, But I kept shut for the son. For whom you were eradicated It has been twenty ve years, With all departing day passes I soared for you my daughter. I you were living, You would have been my friend – My advisor, my motivator This is the last letter I inscribe to you. I cannot live with this guilt Guilt of breathing with killers, Seeing them freely exist. And-the son-for whom They all did nuissance My daughter they took your life But now the son stays neither with me, nor with them, He has his own life and a wife. I have no affection, no adoration. Yet I love you until the end of my life. And I missed you from eternity I don't know where I will go Will I continue or end my life But one thing is clear That I would be away from humiliation. And since I had not let you see this life, My child-I tell you, life is beautiful Close your eyes and whisper in my ears. Mummy-and all world will be yours. Nothing more can I write, Except to say If you could forgive me. Your's loving mother.
