We use it to say that something is true in general.

In the third person singular affirmative the verb

We form the negative with don’t (doesn’t in the
3rd person singular). They don’t like sweets/ She

We form questions with Do…?(Does …?in the

you like football?

FREQUENCY when we say how often we do

With the verb TO BE we use a different pattern
Pattern: subject + am/is/are+ ADVERB
