Impact Assessment Framework – nationally piloted through UKCF -
evidence the value of the VCS – Northamptonshire lead pilot
Build the monitoring and evaluation skills of grassroots groups.
Impact measurement tool to help evidence value of local funding and
demonstrate impact of individual donor, single programme or multi
programme funding.
To ‘deep mine’ impact of funded activity and report this to donors and
funders.
Evidence value of sector across a broad range of themes.
The VCS can achieve a positive impact creatively, flexibly and quickly as
not privy to the same restrictions as public/private sector

12. Margaret Giffen Endowment Fund
Overall the Margaret Giffen Endowment fund has benefited 13,270 people in Northamptonshire. The top three outcomes of the fund are improving the community
working together, increasing opportunities for the public to engage with culture and heritage and preserving local heritage. These benefits have been predominantly
forpeopleandcommunitieslivingwithintheNorthofthecountyandoften withinwardsandareasofdisadvantageandpoverty.
