2. Based on the audience feedback, I believe we do have a very entertaining video. A lot of people who viewed the video liked the diversity included in it and the different types of people seen in the video. They also noted on the way we portrayed different relationships and romantic scenarios, which would be present on a typical club night out. One person mentioned that they liked the fast pace of the video and also they felt that both the band shots and the nightclub shots fitted in well with the time of the beat.
3. Another mentioned that even though we had a small cast to film with, the quick shot jumps of the scenes made the club look fuller and that filming near the mirrored wall also made the club look busier. Some mentioned that perhaps some of the lip sync was off at times, which may have been down to the singer forgetting the lyrics at time. This has made us think that to improve on later videos, we will have to maybe film several times so that we can find a shot with the singer with the correct lyrics.
4. We also learnt from our audience feedback that our editing is quite good as most appreciated the quick cuts and jumps however some said that we needed more varied scenes as some of the nightclub scenes were at the same area which makes us think that we needed to film in more locations, perhaps outside in a pub garden as well. Some of the audience noted that the mise-en-scene could have been improved with more ‘club like’ costuming and maybe a drink in the cup to make it look less set up. This is something we should have considered maybe saying beer bottles as well and have the bar staff serving cups of liquid to represent alcoholic drinks.
