advertised upon the internet,
in forms of pop ups and side
bars.
• 21st Century
iTunes, Google Play, Spotify,
Youtube (Vevo), Music
Channels.
All old recordings have been
restored and complied despite
the groups zero activity and
further contribution to the
industry. The music is still
valued as classics and needed
to become digitally accessible.
Convergence

• The Charlie’s Angels Soundtrack, including ‘Independent Women’ crossed

Issues/ Audience
A law suit was filed by two ex-members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia
Roberson after ‘Survivor’ was released after they left the group. They
attempted to sue but file was quashed after their manager stated that
the allegations had no grounds.
Illegal downloading is an issue as Sony loses valuable profits, in order
to combat this. This loss of shares hurts their industry by reducing
profits and takings. Sony Music Entertainment branch in Japan has
already enforced a penalty for large sums of money if an internet user
downloads copyrighted files.
Exchange
• All of Destiny’s Child’s music is still available to
download on itunes even through they are
disbanded but due to all of their recent solo
careers, especially Beyoncé, their sales have
increased not only their individual work but
also their group work.
