• Integrated software and electromechanical components into the transmission controls system • Developing
initial calibrations for devices. • Optimized the functionality of the system by identifying and solving
controls problems and implemented both software and hardware solutions. • Collaborated with Dr. Aravind
Bharadwaj (now CEO, Automotive Infotronics ) in developing a simulation model (Sabor) that was used to
demonstrate to Delco Electronics the root cause of their Force Motor “Sticking” issue. I also experimented
with GM’s SIMUCAR to identify ways to validate some of my system solutions when developing my base
calibrations. • Acquired extensive practical knowledge of controlling hydraulics with electromechanical
components and systems as applied to the 4T40E, 4T60E, 4T65E, and 4T80E transmissions. • Interfaced
with designers, release engineers, purchasing, vendors, and auto technicians, as well as fellow controls
development engineers to complete assignments. • Supplied written documentation and presentations
regularly to staff.
TEST FACILITIES ENGINEER at General Motors

• Completed design and implementation of transmission component tests and design and maintenance of
hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic controls on all test equipment. • Developed test techniques for detecting
air in transmission oil and kept track of instrumentation calibrations. • Designed and coordinated the build
