Summary
Engineering Program Manager with over 15 years expertise at leading design and launch of electrical/
electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems for automotive and consumer products industries. Coached
project managers for US, Canadian, and Latin American markets on implementation of project management
methods, including stage-gate process. Thrived under challenge of leading trans-continental teams to successful
launch under rapidly-changing conditions.
Experience
Senior Project Manager - Retail, Canada/Latin America at Moen
2012 - 2015 (3 years)
• Implemented electronic workflow system integrated with the change management system. Currently
utilizing this system to identify, confirm, and manage systemic issues in “People” process. Estimated 30%
reduction in launch issues due to resolution of process roadblocks. • Redesigned the method and format
of New Product Service report published and reviewed weekly with Operations Executive team. Reduced
effort from 4 hours to 10 minutes/week. Freed time now used to address root cause in lieu of gathering and
formatting data. • Collaboratively developed a transitions process for various phases of the product lifecycle.
Lead development of analytical tools to support implementation of this process. Completed the blueprinting
phase of two process tools; working with IT Agile and BI teams to prioritize the automation of these tools
for a projected $800K annual savings. • Periodically briefed Senior VP of Operations and staff on key issues
affecting scope of operation prior to project stage-gate reviews. Established discussion guide template. •
Facilitated documentation of the 3rd-Party Process for building displays. Trained the New Product Supply
Chain Project Managers in the implementation for customer event.

regulations of various global commercial truck markets (Australia, Mexico, Brazil, New Zealand, Republic
of South Africa, and Russia) • Led launch activity in China for no-idle solution for the long haul tractor
program. Approved build and shipment of 70 pre-production units. • Lead cross-functional team of GM,
Kongsberg Automotive, Workhorse, and Navistar to develop gateway control module for GM/Navistar joint
venture. • Piloted the use of a wire-design method used in Workhorse Custom Chassis Division to the rest of
the EES department. • Developed and presented to executive leadership a proposal to streamline the harness
design change-management process for improved quality and 40% increased throughput.
Adjuct Instructor at ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE
2007 - 2008 (1 year)
Adjunct Faculty, School of Information Technology and School of Electronics Technology Courses Taught:
• C++ • Linux I • Software Engineering • Process Control Electronics (switches, filters, sensors and
actuators)
MANAGER, VEHICLE SYSTEM AND COMPONENT TEST/RELIABILITY at Navistar
2005 - 2007 (2 years)
• Recognized for improving validation testing throughput by 50% the first year. • Coordinate the training
and development of 8 direct reports to maintain skill sets needed to meet goals. Successfully promoted
two employees, including one that was on a performance improvement plan. • Established a process for
determining test priorities during period of labor disputes and layoffs. Successfully completed all mission-
critical testing in spite of conditions as the result
