Responsible for reviewing and coding complex operative procedures for two high volume
ambulatory surgery centers. Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of coding
guidelines and relevant federal regulations through the use of current CPT-4, HCPCS II,
and ICD-9/ICD-10 materials, Federal Register, and other pertinent materials.

Responsible for coding and entering patient charges and submitting bills for a local
anesthesiology group, general surgeon, and plastic surgeon. Duties also included
scheduling of anesthesia, insurance verification, auditing accounts for accuracy,
