1. Letter of Academic Recommendation
Dear Faculty Members
Regarding the Master of International Communication Studies at the University
of Nottingham, Ningbo China (UNNC).
I am pleased to write an academic recommendation for Ms Line Aagaard, as I
can highly recommend her to your study programme committee.
I have known Ms Aagaard for the past academic year, as she has taken the
course on corporate communication which I teach.
As her teacher, I have had the opportunity to enjoy her enthusiastic
participation and interaction in class. In my evaluation of Line’s knowledge in
the subject matter of corporate communication, I assess her as an excellent
candidate for your Masters programme, since she is a significantly above
average student in all aspects of our course –particularly those related to
international communication.
In the last exam term, Line handed in an excellent term project in corporate
communication, for which she recived a very good grade. Thus, I know that
she is a strong candidate for your Masters programme, and has a proven
excellence in theorizing, as well as applying, strategic communication and
marketing solutions.
I also feel confident that Ms Aagaard will thrive in the dynamic and
competitive context of your university campus in Ningbo, as well a being able
to be a positive and valuable addition to your international student body.
Sincerely,
Johan Hjorth Jacobsen
