I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Swathi Sundararaman as a student in ESCP Europe - one of the
most prestigious European business-schools, known for its academic excellence and international focus,
that gathers top students from all over the world – where I am affiliate professor in the Strategy,
Organizational Behavior and Hr Department. Swathi was, last year, in my Organization & Management
class (core 2nd
year course) for which she received an ECTS Grade A (16,5/20 ; this grade covers group work
and presentation in class, individual class participation, a 20 pages final term paper and a final written
exam).
At ESCP Europe Swathi is the ideal student: very interesting and dedicated, she has excellent oral and
written communication skills, both in English and French. She enjoys public speaking and has given
numerous presentations in my classes.
What stroke me, and best describes Swathi, is her eagerness to learn, highest performance standards,
friendly manners and open mindedness, combined with a strong sense of responsibilities and self-
confidence, which give her a natural talent for leadership. Popular among her fellow students and teachers

Currently completing a 6-months internship at Smart Lenders Asset Management in London, I know she
intends to pursue her career in a company where she could use her skills with algorithms, especially large
datasets ; given her qualities, quantitative taste and already quite extensive corporate knowledge, I have
full confidence in her abilities to do well in a challenging and demanding work environment.
