1. Liangming Peng was a teaching assistant in my course math 22, calculus II, in the fall semester 2016. His
duties included meeting once a week with four different groups of 20 students to supplement the
lectures that I give to the entire class, to answer questions, and to go over the homework. He also
graded the homework problems and participated in grading the examinations, including the final exam.
Liangming did an excellent job as a teaching assistant and was well regarded by the students. He was
highly effective in carrying out all the duties associated with his position. I found him to be highly
reliable, extremely capable, trustworthy and very dedicated to doing an excellent job. He is also very
intelligent, as well as being a very pleasant young man who is a pleasure to work with. I give Liangming
my strongest recommendation, without reservation, for any position that is consistent with his
background and education.
