Mon W/B 05/01/15
(Detailed Weekly Summary)
This week I have created a blog to collect all of my FMP work and
have begun creating basic sketches of what the weapons may look
like if I were to add them into a game.
My plan for next week will be to create more sketches
of weapons and characters to give myself an idea of
what some features of the game will look like. I will also
research characters to give myself a various ideas of
what I will come up with later on.

This week I have created documents for each secondary research
that I will produce. This includes weapons, characters and
environment concept art, which I will explain why I have chosen
each piece of concept art and how that will help me create my
own.
My plan for this week is to complete all secondary
research documents, so I can gather ideas and then use
those ideas to create a few more hand-drawn sketches.

This week I have completed all of the secondary research and
begun to complete the primary research, by creating a survey
which I will post on a social network to be filled in and collect the
results and summarise them.
My plan for next week will be to complete the primary
research and then summarise the secondary research,
after that I will most likely create a few more hand
drawn sketches from the research I have gathered.

This week I have completed my secondary research summary and
have created a few characters sketches, I have also begun to put
together the primary research summary and annotate each image
in the presentation.
My plan for next week will be to fully complete the
primary research summary, to complete my initial ideas
and to create several more sketches.

This week I have completed the primary research summary and
drew a few more character sketches for my collection of concept
art, I have also begun to put together my pitch presentation.
My plan for next week is to complete a few more
sketches and to mostly complete my pitch presentation,
and maybe to start my environment concept art on
gamemaker.

This week I have completed a few sketches and fully completed my
project proposal form, I have also began to prepare my pitch
presentation remembering to focus mainly on imagery and going
what I will talk about through my pitch.
My plan for next week is to complete a few more
sketches and to have hopefully completed my pitch
presentation remembering to go through several times
what I will say when presenting my finished pitch.

This week was my half term so most project I completed was
character sketches and checking through my blog to confirm all of
my completed assignments were evidenced.
My plan for next week will be to complete my pitch and
create a few more sketches to add to my collection of
character and weapons drawings.

This week I have tweaked a few of my sketches by adding colour to
them and giving them a bit more life to them by doing so this will
give my selected audience a better understanding to what I am
drawing, I have also added a few more slides to my pitch
presentation
My plan for next will be to fully complete the pitch and
then revise on what I will say when presenting my
presentation which will include what my project is and
who it’s aimed towards.

This week I have completed my pitch presentation tweaked a few
of my earlier sketches, I have a created a couple of environment
art pieces aswell, I think so far that my concept art progress is
going rather well with large variety of hand drawn sketches.
My plan for the following week is to continue character
and weapon concept art sketches and environment
pixel art remembering to present them onto a
PowerPoint Presentation.

This week I have completed a few environment concept art pieces
which I have added great detail to each one which when I have
completed enough of them I will present them within a
presentation.
My plan for next week is to carry making a few
environment concept art pieces and then maybe so
weapon sketches which those will be hand drawn.

This week I have designed a few more environment concept art
pieces which add spent log amount of time adding detail to each
individual piece, now that I have completed the majority of them I
have now presented and added information alongside them
stating why I chose the colours I did for each piece.
My plan for next week is to present my remaining
concept art sketches onto a PowerPoint presentation
and then add annotation to each one, after this is done I
will most likely design more character and weapon
sketches.

This week I have created different variations of sprite art using
gamemaker this included character sprite art and weapon sprite
art, after I have completed enough sprite art will present within a
presentation.
My plan for next week is create more character sketches
and a few sprite art pieces, after I done enough I will
begin to present within individual PowerPoint
presentations.

This week I have designed a few pieces of character concept and
looked over my earlier sketches to see what could be improved in
future sketches.
My plan for the following week is to create more
character sketches and sprite art to experiment with
design for the final stages of the project.

This week I have made progress in designing character concept art
and looked through my research to see what designs I could create
within my artwork.
My plan for next week is to add detail to the new
character art pieces I created then after that I will look
into creating several more pieces of character art.

In this week I have looked through all my artwork including
character, environment and sprite art just see if there are tweaks
that could be made to anything and if I was satisfied with amount.
My plan for next week is complete a few more pieces of
character concept art and may design a few
environment are pieces.
