3. Climate There is less than 25cm of precipitation annually. In the summer the temperatures are between 3˚C and 12˚C.
4. Physical Features Tundra biome always has a layer of permanent frost obviously called permafrost. There are 24 hours of daylight each day in the summer.
5. Plant adaptions. No trees grow here since the growing season is to short. Roots cannot penetrate the permafrost. Short grasses, lichens and mosse live here, some flowering plants and cloud berries can survive.
