Services are broken down into 3 categories:
Training Services
Career Services
Self Directed- No Eligibility
Individualized- Eligibility Requirement
Business Services
5. Training Services
Basic eligibility requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States and be registered with Selective
Service, if applicable, and meet one of the following:
Adult/Youth - Have had a fairly low income over the past six months, have received food
stamps/TANF within the past six months, be considered basic skills deficient, or homeless.
In School Youth Services - focus on youth attending school - ages 14-21.
Out of School Youth Services - focus on youth not attending school - ages 16-24.
Dislocated Worker - Have lost a job within the past four years due to business
closure, lack of work, honorable military discharge, self-employed but unemployed due to
economic conditions or natural disasters or pending personal business closure.
Displaced Homemaker - Have depended on the income of a spouse and lost
access to that income.
6. Training Services
Additional training requirements:
Programs are limited to two years and must result in a degree
or certificate– Applied Science Associate degrees, Certificates, or last two years of
a Bachelors Degree.
Must be accepted into an approved high growth training
program – examples: LPN, RN, Welding, CDL, Computer Networking, etc.

Training Assistance Includes:
Tuition Funding – Up to $22,000 for required tuition and fees.
Required books and supplies per semester
Required Uniforms
Licensing Fees
Childcare Assistance (if eligible)
Mileage Assistance
Monthly Career Planner Support
Employment assistance and guidance for one year after training
8. Training Services
How to apply:
Complete and submit a training application on our
website. www.careerlinkil.com
Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior
to the start of classes.
Participants will be contacted by a Career Planner to
complete an assessment, basic skills testing, and
enrollment, if eligible.
