Industrial Drive Campus and the Tifton Campus.

Clinical: Located at various hospitals, local long term care
facilites, Various physicians’ offices, Health Department,
Green Oaks, Southwestern State Hospital.
Our clinical days are typically Wednesday and Thursdays.
Clinical hours are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Clinical hours will
vary depending on the site.

 Uniforms: Approximate cost $120.00-$200.00
 Pre-Clinical Requirements: Random Drug and Alcohol
Screen on instructors command, physical exam, TB skin
test, Up-to-date immunizations and criminal background
check. Note: these tests are only valid for one year.
Approximate cost is $500 (including immunizations that
are necessary)
 Licensing Exam Fees: $250.00 due during 4th semester
for NCLEX exam review course. $290.00 for NCLEX-PN
exam, background check for Board and license due 4th
semester.

 Competitive Admissions for the Practical Nursing program
courses occur in the Fall and Spring each year for the Moultrie

 When do I need to attend the Mandatory Orientation?
 Students should attend the Mandatory Orientation in either
summer or fall semesters. They should complete their core
courses in summer or fall semester or have completed their
core courses when they attend.
 Why is there a competitive process for nursing?
 Our program must follow the LPN Board Rules for
educational programs. According to rule 400-3-08, there
can be no more than 10 students per instructor in the
clinical setting. This number allows for better instructional
time for each student and the best possible clinical
experiences.
