Future uncertainty has grown as a result of climate change. One thing has become certain as its effects worsen over time: We will bequeath the Earth to the children and young people of today and to future generations. The largest generation of youth in history, there are 1.8 billion young people in the globe between the ages of 10 and 24. Young people are becoming more conscious of the risks and difficulties posed by the climate crisis as well as the chance for sustainable development provided by a solution to the problem. The unprecedented global mobilization of young people demonstrates the enormous power they have to hold policymakers responsible.
