Editor's Notes
How many here are very familiar with WIOA and its effect on AE?
How many are very familiar with IET and its implementation guidelines?
It’s not ”I Eat Toast” or “Invest Every Time”
What is the difference between EDUCATION and TRAINING? Let’s talk more in WIOA terms.
If you’ve been in AE for awhile, you know that integrated, or contextualized, or interdisciplinary and intradiscipinary instruction have been promoted for a very long time. I was giving workshops and developing curriculum on those approaches back in the early 90’s! What’s new is the emphasis now placed on these by WIOA and programs funded by it.
