▪ Expertly develop, implement and facilitate police and multi-agency plans and operations to reduce the
availability and prosecute offenders for supply of class A & B drugs, through observation, investigation
and intervention, while ensuring compliance in line with established standards.

collaboration with community agencies and organisations.

▪ Assist and guide neighbourhood policing and other departments on drug related issues, including the
deployment of technical equipment and speaking at international events on drugs and licensing.
▪ Play a significant role as Area Drugs and Licensing Officer by working with the licensing trade targeting
drug misuse within licensed premises, offering effective training and advice on crime prevention for
management and staff, including door staff with the focus on a specific target group of offenders and their
specific challenges and methods for assessing the needs and risk factors of offenders.
