• Planned and delivered The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) for 12 consecutive years.

outstanding contribution to the planning and delivery of high profile national events.
CAREER HISTORY:
Human Resources and Operations Executive – Superintending Clerk (2006 – present day)
• Responsible for providing advice, support and expert guidance on policies and procedures to the head of
organisation on the development of strategic initiatives.
• Provision of HR analysis and subsequent reports to support strategic planning. The findings from which
resulted in a slight increase to the workforce to better meet the output. Overall, this had a profound increase in
productivity, increased employee retention by 70% and saw a positive increase of 62% on an employee
satisfaction survey compared to the previous period.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure the effective management within legislation.
• Responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of information management and Human Resources
policies within legislation. Instigated a complete revision of operating procedures that removed out dated and
redundant working practices resulting in a more cohesive and streamlined approach.
• Direct line management of a diverse team of up to 40 professionals, comprising of military and civilian
employees.
• Responsible for planning, training, briefing and delivering a workforce in access of 2,000 personnel in support
of events of national importance such as The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour), State Visits,
State Opening of Parliament, the national act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph. This includes coordinating
the use of military manpower to bolster security at Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, The Tower of
London and Windsor Castle.
• Responsible for employee relations, absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, case work and
performance management.
• Responsible for the implementation and delivery of safeguards to enhance measures for the safety and security
of a large and diverse workforce.
• Provide Change and Performance Management support and guidance within the region. Implemented
electronic working practices to administer all ticketing to The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour).
This commercial model was then adopted by a number of soldier’s charities nationally.
2. • Coordinate and engage on all matters relating to community, cultural and extramural activities.
• Responsible for running the financial account and budget holder for IRO £300,000. Invoicing, receipt and
processing of all public payments.
• Negotiate contracts. Negotiated and implemented a large commercial stands contract which resulted
in
minimal increase of cost over a 5 year period. Identified and negotiated the cost of real estate use and
software licence agreements.
• Plan and administer Royal, Ministerial and Diplomatic visits within London on behalf of the Crown, the
Government and Ministry of Defence.
Administrative Officer, (Business, Personnel, IT and Financial Manager, Global
(2004 – 2006).
• Responsible for the deployment of over 2000 personnel to combat operations overseas.
• Delivered administrative and managerial support whilst in a harsh and hostile environment
