December 9, 2019
Call to Order: 7:05 pm by Bro. President

 The November 11th, 2019 BNL Chapter Meeting Minutes were presented before the
Brotherhood at the December 9th, 2019 Chapter Meeting. The minutes were reviewed,
and currently pending the correct spelling of the word Treasure.
Treasurer’s Report: Bro. Alex Bridges
 Activity from 11/1/2019 through 11/30/2019
 Beginning Balance$56,334.77
 Total Withdrawals: $4,279.65
 Ending Balance: $52,205.12
Benevolence/Brotherhood Relations: Bro. President
 Chapter recognition for biological and fraternal birthdays, wedding anniversaries, new
births, job promotions and other highlights.
Budget & Finance: Bro. Alex Bridges
 Alumni grand tax = $150
 Local dues = $150
 Housing Assessment = $100
 Total = $400
 Full payment due by November Chapter Meeting
o National Late Fee: $15
 The 2020 Chapter budget was presented to the Brotherhood for review. The budget will
be reviewed at future meeting

• Blood Drive – next drive will be January 18, 2020 for MLK Community Service Weekend
after the Parade!! Will be an overall awesome weekend and kickoff to BNL Community
Service Events for 2020. 1-6pm and PEASE spread the word!! Will be our largest and
best drive EVER!! Also have Walls Memorial MLK Church Service on Jan 19 and the
MLK Prayer Breakfast at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on MLK Monday morning, Jan 20!!

Health & Wellness Committee: Bro. Carter
 Plan: Roll out a google document to capture the AlphaPhit affirmations to the
Chapter at our January 2020 meeting.
 This document will be submitted to Executive Board for approval at the December 2019
meeting. Will give more clarity around how to get your AlphaPhit tee shirt at that time.
 We have also secured the domain name “alphaphit.com” for webpage development in
2020.
 This webpage will contain all things “health and wellness” to help keep the chapter
engaged with committee objectives.
