YOUR MISSION IS MY VISION ! After spending a few years in different corporate industries I am  venturing out of this type of role. I am looking to return to where my  strengths lay.  I have volunteered my time and talents in creative public relations to  many non-profit and business organizations in my local community  and spearheading fundraising for people in need like Haitians as well  as local residents. SPEARHEAD FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Hoof It For Haiti  Saturday, Sept. 25:  9 a.m. start for 3rd Annual  “Hoof It For Haiti”  5-K Run & Walk at Saint  Elizabeth Seton Church in  Rocky Hill, CT. The fundraiser begins—rain or shine—at 9 a.m. The USATF-certified course is open to people of all ages and to wheelchair participants. Awards will be given to the best performers in various age categories, and refreshments will be provided. Participants are encouraged to sign up pledges. Sponsors of the event are welcomed. Pre-registration is $10 per person and $5 for children 10 years old and younger. Registration on the day of the event is $15. Registration for a family of three or more is $25. All registration costs are waived with a minimum of $100 in pledges or a  sponsorship of at least $100.  Registration can be completed beforehand or on the morning of the event, starting at 8 a.m. A registration  application is available online at: www.stesetonchurch.org For information call:  860– 529-3222

SAMPLE ACTION PLANS AND RESULTS: A: Changed our daily goals agenda. Results: Reduced late shipments by 18% and increased pounds per hour by 4%. B: Stainless steel castings were the hardest to process and had highest late delivery status. Results: The team devised a plan to relocate all operations of product from the four  departments to one. Increased productivity and better quality this effort initiated,  our stainless steel sales, the most profitable grew by over 10%. C: A team plan to change the tool maintenance system to lower spare part inventory and reduce tool repairs. Results: By allowing team members to store the tools and spare parts they used in  their personal lockers, they felt that they were “their” tools, and took more responsibility  in taking care of them reducing costs significantly.  D: Re-organized heat treating schedule to increase on time customer delivery. Results: Doubled the weekly time of the ductile iron castings increasing on time delivery. E: Worked with and trained all team members to communicate on a daily bases to IT  the status of every order.   Results: This allowed the customer service team to view status of each order on their  computer and were able to communicate to the customer an accurate shipping time.
