1. 2. How does your media product represent particular
social groups?
I think my magazine represents mainly the indie rock social groups as this is the genre of
my magazine. I think it represents these social groups as the colours red, black and white
are very indie-rock, which is important. I also think that the artists/bands that I have used
also fit well with the social groups and genre of the magazine. For example, Florence and
the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Kings Of Leon and Arctic Monkeys are all of the indie genre.
Becky Byrne and Refrain have very unique and individual styles.
