Finding Financial Literacy

2. Problem
Many teenagers aren’t aware of the importance of financial literacy. They typically rely heavily on their
parents/guardians to take care of everything they would consider being an adult including finances, taxes,
paying bills, taking out a loan, investing in stock, etc. these teams end up going out into the world not knowing
anything about these topics. That’s what we are here to change.

3. Solution
Cent is an app we designed to help teenagers learn about financial literacy in a fun and efficient way. Cent will
have four main parts organized in a tool bar. it will contain a news, games, Q&R, and my finances section. Our
goal is to give both students with and without the opportunity to a financial education the chance to learn and
apply their knowledge.

4. Market
Our target consumer is teenagers. That’s what really sets us apart. This is a finance app created for teenagers, by
teenagers. Let’s be honest, teens don’t care to learn about personal finance because it’s not fun. Our app fixes
that problem. We put the fun in finances so teenagers can enjoy learning and testing their knowledge.
