1. Joined Larsen & Toubro Group with a mandate to build a new institution that would focus on infrastructure financing
beyond L&T’s own projects. L&T Infrastructure Finance Co. Ltd. is an Infrastructure Finance Company, floated by a
premier Indian Engineering & Infrastructure Company, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
Led L&T Infra through its company formation, getting regulatory approvals, formation of board with eminent
professionals, setting internal processes and creating a team with a pan-India presence. As a founder of the company,
has brought L&T Infra up to an asset book of ~ USD 3bn and a Profit After Tax of USD 66 mn in a span of six years
since its inception. Led company’s operations from a start-up to achieving cumulative approvals of ~ USD 10bn and
cumulative disbursements of ~USD 5bn with consistent earnings after tax since year of inception.
Commencing the business operations in 2006 with project lending, L&T Infra has today expanded its offerings to
equity and debt syndication, investment banking, private equity and Infrastructure Debt Fund. Under his
management, L&T Infra was selectively classified as an Infrastructure Finance Company (IFC) by RBI and notified by
Government of India as a Public Finance Institution (PFI)

Raising initial equity capital of ~ USD 100mn – Total net worth now close to ~ USD 450 mn
L&T Infra grew at 40% annually for last 6 years under his leadership and is poised growth in future

Feedback Group is a boutique infrastructure advisory company in India. Joined as a Partner and Managing Director
(CEO) of their Core Infrastructure Advisory business (Energy, Transport & Urban Infra)
Key Responsibilities & Profile:
Conceptualized, rebuilt and repositioned a new full service boutique infrastructure advisory organization
Established new practices (Energy & Transportation), broke new grounds (Overseas) & won mandates in new
areas (Water). Core infrastructure operations grew ~three times in the three years during his experience
Charge of operationalising India’s first private sector urban infrastructure equity fund and then role of
Investment Advisor to the Fund. Established unique deal generation & nurturing skills for Urban Infra Equity
fund, screened about 96 projects proposals to close investment in four deals. Surmounted the deal flow
problem in urban infrastructure

Maintained a consistent revenue growth (80-100%) for more than 5 consecutive years
Part of a change management group where he was involved in reinstating meritocracy, performance appraisal

from ICICI, he has been involved in strategy & change management for two more financial sector entities–
National Development Bank and SREI.
Pioneered two new state level institutions to catalyse Public-Private Partnership infrastructure in the states of
West Bengal & Kerala through creation of new organisations, viz., ICICI West Bengal Infrastructure
Development Co. Ltd (I-Win) and ICICI Kerala Infrastructure Development Co Ltd (I-Kin). The institutions
were expected to identify suitable infrastructure projects and prepare them for Public-Private Participation
through a project development route. Was also the founder director for these organisations.
Led several pioneering initiatives, which include the setting up of India’s first municipal financing fund in the
state of Tamil Nadu and setting up of the ICICI Knowledge Park, which is India’s first Science park at
Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.
