• StatCan report “The Canadian Immigrant Labour Market: Recent Trends
from 2006 to 2017” finds that as a share of total employment,
immigrants are more likely to work in the following sectors:
• Accommodation and food services (34.7%)
• Finance and insurance (33.7%)
• Transportation and warehousing (32.5%)
• Professional, scientific and technical services (32%)
• Manufacturing (31.6%)
