1. Masthead Designs
Here are some examples of Hip – Hop mastheads that I would like to replicate.
My masthead name will be called 'Hip - Hop State'. I like this as it implies that
there is a state somewhere that is all hip - hop. This is the only place where you
will find news and information about anything hip - hop.
I went for a sans serif font as that is what's commonly used in magazines
nowadays and in many hip - hop magazines as well. The font also looks clean
and sharp.
2. The colour I went for was yellow as it makes the masthead stand from the rest
of the magazine but it also complements the other colours as well.
The size of the masthead will be large and would fill the width of the magazine
cover. This brings attention to it therefore making it recognisable.
