10. EXTRAVERSION
Howard Schultz has always
communicated with optimism about
future & has always explained his
employees the meaning of their work &
potential opportunities
A company can grow big without losing the
passion and personality that built it, but
only if it’s driven not by profits but by
people . . . The key is heart. I pour my
heart into every cup of coffee and so do my
partners at Starbucks. When customers
sense that, they respond in kind … If you
pour your heart into your work, you can
achieve dreams others may think
impossible. That’s what makes life
rewarding.
- Howard
Schultz

There are moments in our lives when we
summon the courage to make choices that go
against reason, against common sense and the
wise counsel of people we trust. But we lean
forward nonetheless because, despite all risks
and rational argument, we believe the path we
are choosing ... even if we do not know exactly
where our actions will lead

decision out of the blue, without any
rationale, which turned out to be true.
• Ex-Apple employee Frederick Van
Johnson explained it in the book ‘Inside
Apple’ : "Because he has that insight.
You know, he's Steve. And you're like,
how did [he] even know that? [He's]
absolutely right. Normally, he has some
sort of weird insight where he just
knows."
• Even Bill Gates acknowledged how
impressed he was by that instinctual
grasp of technology that Steve Jobs
seemed to have.
INTUITIVE
18. THINKING
Jobs disliked the people who did not
share the same vision as him .
At times he had fired his employees for
not sharing the goal he dreamt . He
believed that persons who don’t think
big would never work hard to
accomplish something big .
This explains that his thinking traits
were dominant over his feelings .
19. PERCEIVER
Apple CEO Tim Cook noted, "More so than any person I ever met in my
life, [Jobs] had the ability to change his mind, much more so than
anyone I’ve ever met ... Maybe the most underappreciated thing about
Steve was that he had the courage to change his mind “ .
He also mentioned in All things D conference in 2012 that Steve could
advocate something very passionately someday and the next day he
could advocate the opposite .
This is a certain characteristic that a perceiver posses .
