consciousness ,Well co-operative
âĒVital sign : T 37.5 ĖC P 100 bpm RR 24/min BP 154/74

HEENT : not pale conjunctiva ,anicteric sclera
âĒ CVS : no active precordium,apical impulse at 5th ICS MCL,
no heaving, no thrill, normal S1 S2, no murmur

âĒRespiratory: normal shape, clear , no adventitious sound
âĒAbdomen: no surgical scar, no spider nevi, soft, not tender,
normoactive bowel sound
âĒMusculoskeletal: marked tenderness at left shoulder ,
swelling,limit ROM due to pain
13. Fracture proximal humerus
âĒ Incidence 2 â 3 % of upper extremity fracture
âĒ after age 60 yr
âĒ More than 85 % āđāļāđāļ minimal displaced
âĒ Most common mechanism : simple fall on the arm
14. âĒClinical : painful, swollen arm, ecchymosis, limit range of
motion
âĒMain artery supply to
proximal humerus
: anterior humeral circumïŽex a.
âĒMost common nerve injury
: axillary n.
22. Rehabilitation
âĒ early passive ROM for ïŽrst 6 weeks
âĒ active ROM and progressive resistance
âĒ advanced stretching and strengthening program
