situational awareness for drivers of cars and also
more importantly autonomous vehicles.
Up to now, autonomous vehicle developers were
limited to putting sensors on the vehicle to gather
as much information as possible.

However by placing sensors in places not limited by
the vehicle’s location, we have solved an important
part of the problem which was being faced in the
development of autonomous driving cars.
Also the safety of ordinary cars shall be improved.

Emergency vehicles can be provided priority if
they are coordinated and all those involved are
based on the same protocols and can confirm
compliance to the decisions made by the KONA
as a temporary traffic controller.

More efficient algorithms can be made where the
fully autonomous vehicles do not have to stop and
can interweave among others in a junction without
having to change speeds much.
This was my dream to be able to see such a
system in the future where there was no need for
a stop sign. Now it can be made a reality with this
system and when 100% of the autonomous cars
are compliant at the junction.

come up with thousands of other new ways to use
and develop this idea further.
We also have planned many other features in the
design and plan to collaborate with partners and
investors to further this project.
